Applied Developmental Psychology: Arts and Education, Improvisational theatre, Autism

Ariana Colder is a graduate student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program at George Mason University. Her research interests center on child development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the intersection of the performing arts and psychology. She is currently involved in research at the PLAY Lab with Dr. Goldstein and the Winslab with Dr. Winsler, where she examines topics such as the role of improvisational theatre in social skill development and the impact of early childhood experiences on later academic and socio-emotional outcomes. In addition to her academic work, she has experience in applied behavior analysis and working with children and adolescents in various educational and recreational settings.
