Ziqi Yao is a first-year doctoral student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at George Mason University and is working under the mentorship of Dr. Deborah Rupp.

Prior to her Mason journey, she earned her B.S. degree in Experimental Psychology and completed a minor in Women's Studies from Purdue University, where she also worked as a research lab manager for two years post-graduation. 

With a passion for contributing to a fairer and healthier working environment for all individuals, her current research interests are in the topics of organizational justice, employee well-being, emotional labor, work-nonwork interface, and gender. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring students who are interested in relevant research projects.
