Industrial/Organizational Psychology: People Analytics; Talent Development; Organizational Development; Job Analysis; Competency Modeling; Performance Appraisal

Hello! I'm Nicole, and I'm currently a second year in GMU's I-O Psychology MA program.

My main interests in I-O Psychology are people analytics, talent development, and organizational development. However, I'm more of a practitioner, but I plan to stay involved in the more academic side of the field as well.

While I'm here, I've been focused on enhancing my knowledge through both coursework and hands-on experiences. I'm the current Head of Strategy and Initiatives for VPA (Volunteer Program Assessment), and also serve as a senior consultant. I am also the Prospective MA Student Representative for IOPSA (Industrial-Organizational Psychology Student Association). Additionally, I have experience as a research lab assistant under both Dr. Deborah Rupp and Dr. Reeshad Dalal.

As for more external experience, my team won second place in the PTCMW Student Consulting Challenge in 2024, and I went to SIOP for the first time last April.

If you're considering applying and/or attending GMU's I-O MA program, feel free to shoot me a message on LinkedIn!
