Applied Developmental Psychology: Pretend play, imagination, creativity, and learning in childhood.

Marina is a first year Master's student working with Dr. Thalia Goldstein in the Play, Learning, Arts, and Youth (PLAY) Lab. Her interests include pretend play and imagination as ways that children learn about the world around them. As an undergraduate, Marina worked as a Head Research Assistant in the Sibling Peer Research Group at SUNY Geneseo with Dr. Ganie DeHart. Following graduation and before coming to Mason, she was the Lab Manager at the Buffalo Early Learning Lab where she conducted studies with children ages 9 months to 5 years.
