Clinical Psychology
Kerry is a fifth-year graduate student in Dr. Keith Renshaw's Anxiety, Stress, and Relationships Lab and Dr. Todd Kashdan's Well-Being Lab.
Prior to attending George Mason University, she earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Appalachian State University, where she primarily focused on intervention research targeting anxiety vulnerabilities including anxiety sensitivity, distress tolerance, and experiential avoidance. Further, she has a background in "third wave" cognitive behavioral therapies which inform both her research and clinical work.
Presently, she is interested in transdiagnostic risk and resilience factors for anxiety and anxiety-related disorders including negative urgency, contrast avoidance, experiential avoidance, psychological flexibility, personal values, meaning in life, and purpose in life.
