John L. Hawley, Jr., Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine (and Board of Psychology), who has been practicing full-time in Northern Virginia for over 45 years. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment settings serving child, adolescent, and adult populations. Currently, he maintains a private practice in Loudoun County, Virginia. Dr. Hawley has been a member of the adjunct faculty in the Psychology Department at GMU for over 25 years.
Dr. Hawley is the 2020 recipient of the Psychology Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year award
Dr. Hawley is a GMU "Golden Patriot" and a 1975 recipient of the GMU University Service Award
