Food for Thought: Support Community Mental Health at Mason’s 8th Annual Fundraiser

Mason’s Center for Community Mental Health is hosting its 8th Annual Fundraiser on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM EDT at Leidos Headquarters.

The Center provides affordable, accessible, and state-of-the-art mental health services while training the next generation of culturally competent psychologists. As one of the only clinics in the Mid-Atlantic offering sliding-scale therapy—with sessions as low as $5—the Center serves nearly 400 individuals across the DMV, including children, adolescents, adults, and veterans.

Why Your Support Matters

Your participation will help reduce our waitlist of 200+ individuals and expand access to:
    Free community health programs
    Low-cost therapy and testing services
    Family psychological support

Our fund-a-need and auctions will support two critical funds:
   * The Ray Eck Youth Services Fund – Providing counseling for young adults, teens, and children under 25.
   * The Jennifer DiMauro Fund for Veterans – Offering free assessments and therapy for veterans, in memory of Jennifer DiMauro, a dedicated graduate student whose work focused on veteran mental health.

Guests will enjoy a modern setting, sample culinary delights from a mindful menu, and sip signature cocktails and drinks—all in support of a meaningful cause.
