Future plans: After graduation, Hannah plans to work for the Arlington County Police Department for a few years while continuing her education through some sort of licensing or practicums that will push her toward her goal of supporting victims of violent crime or vulnerable populations.

Hannah studied forensic psychology, deviance, crime, and social control with the future goal of supporting victims of violent crime or vulnerable populations.

Most impactful courses: Hannah gained real-life writing and analysis skills in the classes "Mental Illness in the Criminal Justice System" with Professor Justin Ramsdell and "Criminal Psychology" with Professor Terry Gudaitis. It was during these classes that she felt she was moving in the right direction with her education.

Advice for future Patriots: While Hannah chose George Mason because it was close to home, she chose to live on campus and work as a resident assistant, which contributed to her many George Mason memories. She recommends living on campus and taking advantage of the many events, clubs, and activities at George Mason.

“There is so much that campus has to offer and so many clubs and events. Always keep an eye out on Mason360—I swear there is something for everyone.”

She believes that living on campus encourages students to take advantage of more opportunities, both on and around campus.

“I felt like I had the greatest opportunity at George Mason to find a community, explore my interests, and take advantage of the location.

“I will never forget how grateful I am to be on such a beautiful campus. Taking walks whenever the weather was nice, seeing the trees change colors in the fall, watching the flowers and cherry blossoms bloom in the spring, seeing others enjoying the outdoors, and being able to walk to Old Town Fairfax or University Mall were definitely my favorite parts of campus life.”
