Briana Rudolph

As a part of her experiential learning course called Psychology in the Community, Briana recently worked as a Youth After School Supervisor for the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services. There she supervised, organized, and managed childcare programs that involved the supervision of the children’s recreational and educational activities. She also planned, organized, and maintained equipment, supplied snack foods, and cleaned rooms and supplies.

“Working with Loudoun County’s PRCS has allowed me to expand my working knowledge of students with all learning and behavioral aspects. I have worked with the kids in both an extracurricular and an educational environment and seeing how differently the kids interact with each other in these respective environments teaches me to adapt to their different attitudes to better assist them in their daily struggles.”
