Reviews theory and research from social psychology on encouraging behavioral and lifestyle changes that contribute to the conservation of natural resources and lead to reductions in harm to the environment. Theories reviewed include the theory of reasoned/action planned, social norms theories, and theories of self-regulation as applied to the conservation of energy, water, green spaces, and other issues. Limited to three attempts.
