Introduction to research methods in psychology in the context of assisting faculty with research; individualized sections by arrangement with faculty. Methods taught vary but generally include basic data collection and recordkeeping methods in research. Notes: Course culminates in a paper describing techniques learned. No more than 6 credits in PSYC 260, 350, and 460 can be used toward a psychology major. May be repeated within the term.
Recommended Prerequisite: A 3.0 overall G.P.A., and a written proposal approved before registration by the instructor and the department chair.
