Minor in Psychology

Coursework in psychology can enhance many different majors, and the minor in psychology is available to students in any major at Mason. For a list of suggested courses for students who are majoring in specific disciplines that interact especially well with psychology, contact the Undergraduate Psychology Office.

Note: a minor is a secondary field of study a student has outside of their major. This is different from a concentration, which is a narrow specialization within a student’s major/field of focus.

All students have opportunities to

  • conduct independent research
  • engage in globally-related activities through coursework and language study at Mason and abroad
  • participate in many forms of public service
  • prepare for their future careers through internships, career-focused minors and other college-to-career activities
