Welcome to the Psychology Department! We are excited that you have chosen to pursue your graduate studies with us. We hope that your time here will be full of opportunities that will challenge and enrich your lives. You can expect our best efforts in the classroom, advising, and research and our professional and financial support of your efforts. Our goal is to provide you with a combination of rigor and fairness throughout your stay with us. In return, we will ask for your best effort, mutual respect, and openness to feedback.
Please RSVP no later than Thursday, August 16, 2012. Those with TA assignments, please indicate if you will be attending the TA Orientation Workshop.
ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
9:00-10:45am TA Orientation and Workshop (for those with fall TA assignments only)
Doctors Bob Smith, Mike Hurley, Linda Chrosniak and Pat Wanschura (JC Room A, Third Floor). After the orientation, TA's will break into the following workshop sections:
- PSYC 300 - JC Room A, Third Floor
- PSYC 301 - JC Room B, Third Floor
- All Other TA's- JC Room F, Third Floor
11:00-12:00pm Welcome Remarks
Dr. Robert Smith, Department Chair. Research presentations by Doctors Keith Renshaw, Tim Curby and Carryl Baldwin (Johnson Center Cinema, Ground Floor).
12:00-1:30pm Picnic Style Lunch-Location Change

1:30-3:30pm Program Orientation Locations
