Research by Psychology Faculty and Students Featured in Major Online News Outlets

The Department of Psychology is proud to announce that research published by members of our graduate student program and faculty has been featured in The Huffington Post and New Republic. The study cited in the articles examined the effects of interruptions on the overall quality of written work performed by research subjects, and found that experiencing multiple interruptions reduced both the word count and quality of subjects' essays. Congratulations to students Cyrus Foroughi, Nicole Werner, Erik Nelson and Dean Deborah Boehm-Davis!
