Faculty Awards/Appointments/In the News
- Dr. Rob Youmans was selected by the Students as Scholars QEP Leadership Council to receive a 2013 OSCAR Mentor Excellence Award.
- The Faculty Senate approved a resolution of appreciation honoring Jim Sanford for his service on the Senate for almost 30 years.
- Two honors students won awards at the Undergraduate Research symposium. There were 41 posters and 5 awards. We received two. Karla Lockwood received the "Best Overall Research and Scholarship" award (top award for posters) and Laya Muralidharan received an "Outstanding Poster Award" (one of only 4). All of the honors students presented at this symposium and made up 25% of the participants. There were also several neuroscience awards and one of those students received a poster award.
