In PSYC 100, we will explore the science of how humans think, feel, and behave. In doing so, we will analyze human behavior from different perspectives, covering everything from brain function and personality to social influence and psychological disorders.
You’ll connect concepts to real-life situations, like decoding marketing tactics, understanding your own personality through the Big Five test, or analyzing why people join social trends.
Finally, you will engage in a real-life, hands=on research projects to study a behavior that interests you. In doing so, you’ll become a scientist and develop your own theoretical model, collect data to test it, and present your findings.
