Human Factors/Applied Cognition: Trust in Automation, Trust Repair, & Human-Automation Teams
Spencer Kohn is a third-year Human Factors and Applied Cognition graduate student in Dr. Shaw's Hemodynamics, Automation, Resilience, & Trust laboratory (HeART lab). Since joining the Mason community in 2014, Spencer has worked in the field of trust in automation in order to understand the factors that contribute towards building and repairing trust in multiple automation modalities. Currently, his work focuses on evaluating and repairing trust in autonomous vehicles.
