Clinical Psychology: Eating disorders in adolescents, barriers to recovery, interventions, treatment outcomes
Naomi Pak is a first year doctoral student in George Mason University’s Clinical Psychology program, working with Dr. Sarah Fischer. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. Currently, Naomi studies under the mentorship of Dr. Sarah Fischer. Her primary research interests include: 1) The influence of social media on treatment outcomes for eating disorders, 2) Social, economic, and intrapersonal barriers to recovery, and 3) Self-harm among eating disorder populations.
