East Asian folklore, internet culture
Amanda Ellard is obtaining a MA in folklore and is a Graduate Research Assistant working as the Editorial Assistant for the Journal of American Folklore. Her personal research interests mostly lay in East Asian folklore and internet culture. She’s also finishing up a MFA in prose writing, with creative works published in literary journals such as Storyscape and across e-book platforms. She was born and raised in the Florida heat and is also an artist working with various mediums.
