Clinical Psychology: Childhood, adolescence, parenting, stress, trauma

Kelsey is a fourth year doctoral student in the clinical psychology program at George Mason. In 2016, she received her B.A. from George Washington University, after which she worked as a research fellow at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA). Kelsey’s broad research interests include parenting behaviors and parent/adolescent stress. Specifically, she is interested in how parent stress impacts child and adolescent development, as well as ways to mitigate parent stress. Clinically, she works with children, adolescents, and parents, with a particular interest in helping children and teens who have experienced trauma.
