Explores conceptual basics and provides hands-on experience in techniques for studying brain tissue, including stereotaxic surgery, perfusion, sectioning, Nissl and myelin stains, enzyme histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and quantitative receptor autoradiography. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: PSYC 372 or equivalent.

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus or Senior Plus.

Enrollment is limited to Graduate or Undergraduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Post-Baccalaureate or Non-Degree Undergraduate degrees may not enroll.
