Biopsychology is a broad field that includes psychophysiology, neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, comparative psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Regardless of the approach, all of these areas share the goal of understanding the biological component of human behavior. A special emphasis will be placed on clinical applications of course material and on biopsychology research findings which have shed light on the intricacies of the brain-behavior relationship.
