University Professor Emeritus James Maddux recently returned from his 5th visit to Lithuania. This trip was the fourth time he taught cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in the masters' program in counseling psychology at Klaipeda University in the Baltic seaport of Klaipeda. The trip was partially funded by Mason's Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, where Maddux is a Senior Scholar. In addition, Maddux met in the capital city of Vilnius with several advisors to Lithuania's Ministry of Health to discuss strategies for integrating technology into the country's mental health service delivery system.
